Low Carb Product Reviews
You are in for a tasty treat with Chocoperfection. I tried the dark chocolate version and frankly, can’t believe it’s only 2g net carbs, with 14g of fiber. At just under 2 oz in the candy bar, it feels like a regular size bar of chocolate.
I sampled the Dark Chocolate flavor. It was smooth and melted easily in my mouth, like you’d expect from a good piece of chocolate. There were no off flavors, only pure chocolatey goodness. The packaging says it’s made with non-gmo ingredients.
In addition to Dark Chocolate, Chocoperfection also comes in Dark Almond, Dark Raspberry, Milk Chocolate, Dark Mint and Dark Orange. The main ingredients in ChocoPerfection are Cocoa, Chicory Root Fiber, Erythritol, Cocoa Butter, Butter Oil, Soy Lecithin and Vanilla Extract.
I found it easy to eat 2 pieces as a treat after lunch, for a few days in a row. However, the maker says that the product developer ate/eats 2 – 3 50g bars of ChocoPerfection daily and has lost 130 pounds (eating a low carb diet.)
I’ll definately buy Chocoperfection again. It really hit the sweet spot craving.

In a recent box from Keto Krate, I received a bottle of Sarayo Sauce. As the name suggests, it’s both Sriracha and Mayo in one package. The bottle says it’s low carb, gluten free and delicious, and they aren’t lying.
I love just about anything spicy (except that wasabi stuff – but we won’t talk about that now.) so this month’s Keto Krate box was quite welcome. (Stay tuned for reviews of more jerky!) I’m looking forward to trying this out in deviled eggs, guacamole and just spread on sandwiches, like the recent open faced roast beef sandwich on low carb Alison bread.

Berry Sparx are a small, crunchy candy that comes in a plastic tube. It comes in 3 flavors: Berry – the one I tried. As well as Citrus and Fruit.
I’d like to tell you how much I loved these. I really would – because a low carb candy that tastes great would be a real treat. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. They aren’t bad. But they aren’t really something I’d go out of my way to buy either. They are berry flavored, sort of. I’m not sure I would have known that if they weren’t labeled as such. They are sweetened with Xylitol which has an interesting “cooling” effect that makes a for a minty kind of flavor. You’re probably familiar with this sweetener that’s found in many sugar free gums. If you like those, you’ll probably like these candies.
I do prefer a more sour candy, so keep that in mind as you consider my review and weather you’d like to try Berry Sparx for yourself. I find that the more I eat, in order to create this review, the more they seem to grow on me. If this candy had a stronger flavor, especially a sour tang, I would recommend it more.
Will I buy them again? Maybe.

First off, let me say that buffalo flavor chicken anything is one of my absolute favorites. Something about the vinegar and the spice go so well together.
I was skeptical opening the package. Chicken jerky? Could chicken actually be made into jerky? The answer is OMG, Yes! This is easily some of the best jerky I’ve ever had in my life. Dry, and yet very easy to bit and chew. Eat bite evenly seasoned. There were no weird pieces with any questionable meat. Every bite was a savory masterpiece.
I will admit it is not an inexpensive treat. Jerky in general, is pretty pricy. This Buffalo style chicken jerky from Chef’s Cut is on par with gourmet jerky pricing. I highly recommend you try it and enjoy it as a special treat.

I wanted to like this product. I really did. Edamame seems like a healthy snack – and I could really use more of a variety. What I learned with my first bite: Wasabi is not my kind of hot. OMG! Immediate coughing and tearing up. My goodness. I love spicy foods. Wasabi is not for me. Another taste tester had a similar reaction. Wasabi Edamame is clearly the food you torture yourself with. After seeing the reaction of the first two tasters, no one else was willing to sample.
If you like Wasabi flavored products, maybe you’ll like it. I’ll be looking for another flavor of edamame to try.
