Ingredients
- 2 lbs Pork Boneless roast or shoulder
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Lime
- 1 t Garlic powder
- 1 t Oregano
- 1 t Chili powder
- 1 t Cumin
- .25 t Crushed red chili pepper flakes
- 3 cups Water
- 2 cube Chicken bouillon (equiv of 2 cups broth)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet heat oil and butter.
- Cut pork into 8 large pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Brown pork in skillet.
- Add spices and stir.
- Add pork, water, bouillon to crock pot and cook over high for 3-4 hours or all day on low.
- Shred pork and brown in hot skillet.
- Meanwhile, reduce cooking liquid to a few tablespoons.
- Coat pork with leftover cooking liquid and serve.
